Heads up! Tonight, and tomorrow, we have a back-to-back conjunction involving the planets, Saturn and Jupiter, and of course, our natural satellite, the Moon!
October 14, 2021
Saturn is expected to be as close as 4 degrees to the Moon. Other planets that can also be observed tonight are Venus near the West horizon, and Jupiter which is just a few degrees away from the conjunction.

If you happen to miss the Moon-Saturn conjunction, we hope you have clear skies the next night, as on Friday night, October 15, Jupiter will have its turn and it will be in conjunction with the Moon! The Moon is expected to be about 5 degrees south of Jupiter.
As always, we wish you clear skies on this astronomical event.
