Heads up! Tonight, November 8, a spectacular astronomical event will be visible above our heads.
Our very own natural satellite, the Moon, will share a right ascension with the Evening Star, Venus. This is an astronomical event called a conjunction.
It is expected to be a wonderful view as Venus is known as the brightest object in the night sky next to the Sun and the Moon.
Moon and Venus is expected to be 0.6 degrees close to one another.
To easily locate the event, simply search for Moon or Venus in Stellarium Mobile. Stellarium Mobile has a Sensor Mode feature that will utilize your device’s sensors to navigate through the sky*.
